French Folk Art blue and whithe hand painted faience scalloped oval dish with manganese on the back made in Forges les Eaux near Rouen during the first half od the 19th century. 11" (28cm) length, 8 1/8" (20.7cm) width. Perfect condition as shown by the following pictures.

Plat en faïence populaire de Forges les Eaux, du XIXe siècle. Fond au manganèse dit "cul noir". Très bel état, la larme est plus un clin d'oeil qu'un défaut. Largeur 28 cm, profondeur 20,7 cm.
