    Rare oyster plate numbered 1025 by the famous Pol Chambost* artist made in France around 1940-1950. Perfect condition. 10"3/8 tall, 9"5/8 width. It's signed on the back "Made in France" with the number of this plate and the PC monogram of this artist. *Pol Chambost 1906-1983 works with Georges Jouve and they show a set in the 4th Arts of Table in 1949, also in Vallauris with Roger Capron for the conception and colors of firing glazing. The rating of this artist climbs regularly.

Pol Chambost (1906-1983) réalise des pièces en commun avec Georges Jouve, exemple un ensemble exposé au 4e Salon des Arts de la Table (Art & Industrie, 1949, XVI, p. 23), il travaille à Vallauris avec Roger Capron sur la conception et le rendu des couleurs pour l'émaillage au feu, c'est un potier coloriste. La côte de cet artiste ne fait que monter. Elle est en très bon état. Elle est signée sur son fond "made in France" du numéro de modèle 1025 et du monogramme de l'artiste. Hauteur 26.5cm, largeur 24.5cm.
