Herbalist Jar Italian Majolica Hawthorn






 

    This herbalist jar has been made in Italia around 1940. The hand painting pattern shows on a white background a branch of hawthorn with Aubepine the french name of hawthorn at the top. The lid has two blue border. It's signed on the bottom. Good condition just a tiny hairline inside on the neck like you can see on the last picture below. 7"1/2 tall 4" diameter.
