    French vase in majolica with metalic gilt made by Brenner René Emile 1889/1942 studio Normandy around 1920. The hand painting pattern depicts a part of the Bayeux tapestry The Battle of Hastings - King Harold of England was waiting for the invasion of William of Normandy. It's signed on this bottom. Good condition only a chip and an hairline as you can see on the pictures below. 11"1/4 high.
