Metallic Glazed Pottery Vase Emile Simonod Savoy 1930







 

    French Art Deco metallic glazed pottery vase made by Emile Simonod (1893-1977) in Savoy during the 1930's. It's signed on a side and stamped France and 115 for the mould on the bottom. 7 7/8" diameter 4 3/4" height. Good condition tiny glaze shortages on the edge as presented on the following pictures.

Il cessera son activité de céramiste pendant la guerre de 1939/45. Très bel état, sauts d'émail au col. Signé sur le flanc, n° de moule 115 et FRANCE sur le fond. Hauteur 12 cm, diamètre 20 cm.
