This charming stoneware bottle decorated with storks has been executed in Nancy in the reign of Louis Philippe circa 1840. The great orange typical of this period is hand painting with a sponge. Good condition just two small chips on the cap. It's signed with one N for Nancy and 1 for 1 liter. 13"3/4 tall.

Bouteille en grès, ornée de cigogne, réalisée dans un atelier de Nancy, terre de Loraine. Elle est d'époque Louis Philippe, pour preuve, cette très jolie couleur orange peinte à l'éponge. En bon état, juste deux grenures son bouchon en flamme. Sur le fond le N pour Nancy, le 1 pour litre. Hauteur 35cm.
