Milk Opaline Flowered Enamel Gilt Ewer 19th Century

French ewer in milk opaline glass made during the 19th century. The hand painted decor depicts flowers and leaves on a white opaline glass with gilt border. The top is stoppered. Good condition the gilt is lightly worn and a firing gluing on the feet. 13"3/4 high 3"3/8 diameter.

Aiguière ou pichet à eau de fleur d'oranger en verre de lait dit opalin ou lattimo (blanc de lait) deuxième moitié du XIX siècle. Il est émaillé à la main d'un décor de fleurs et réhaussé d'or. Son bouchon est à l'émeri. Très bel état, usures d'or et collage au feu visible au pied. Hauteur 35 cm, diamètre 8,5 cm.
