Vallauris Oyster Platter Server Dish Starfish Shell Faience

Vintage oyster platter server dish with 12 shell compartments shaped in french majolica made by the famous SPFPC in Vallauris around 1954. The hand painted decor depicts sea life with starfish , mussel and shelss in relief. It's stamped on the back.16"1/2 lenght 11"5/8 width. Good condition only a chip repair on the back not visible in front as presented on the following pictures.

Plat à huître à douze compartiments pour recevoir les coquillages et un pour le citron de Vallauris, vers 1970. Il est orné de quatre fruit de mer en relief. Il est signée de la marque du Syndicat Professionnel des Fabricants de Poteries et Céramiques déposée en 1954. Il est en bon état malgré une grosse grenure restaurée. Longueur 42 cm, largeur 29.5 cm.
