Shipwrecks Boats in Storm Pigale Pair Framed Oil Panting France 19th C

Shipwrecks boats in storm, pair of gilt framed oil on canvas made by Pigale during the second half of the 19th century. They are signed on the right bottom corner. They measures for the frame 16 1/2" (42cm) by 13 1/2" (34.5cm) for the paintings 13" (33cm) by 9 5/8" (24.5cm). The wooden gilt frames are slighlty used, for the oil on canvas small repairs and holes for one painting as shown by the following pictures

Naufrages, Bateaux dans la tempête, paire huiles sur toile encadrées, signées en bas à droite Pigale, fin XIXe siècle.  Dimensions: pour les cadres 42 cm par 34.5 cm, pour lestoiles 33 cm x 24.5 cm. Bel état, restaurations et quelques trous pour une toile voir photos.
