French steam engine locomotive number 237 nammed Carbone made by André Koechlin manufacture in Mulhouse, photographic picture of Emile Gros-Renaud middle of the 19th century. Provenance: collection of Francois Prosper Jacqmin (1820-1889), Student of the Ecole Polytechnique,engineer of Imperial school of Ponts et Chaussées, teacher and chairman in this school, member of the Jury, class 52, of the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1867. Dimensions of the photo 10 5/8" width 7 1/2" height, 16 3/8" by 12" overall. Good condition tears on the left side as presented on the following pictures.
